Application and quoting

5
01What is the TacPrint application used for?

The application guides you from model upload and geometry analysis through technology, material and parameter selection to quoting, payment and order tracking. An unusual project may be paused for a technical review.

02How do I start an order step by step?

Upload a 3D model, verify its scale and preview, choose available parameters, quantity and delivery. Review the summary, accept the quote and continue to payment or an agreed billing arrangement.

03Do I need an account and what will I see after login?

The application may require login when a project, payment or order history must be linked to an account. The customer panel contains your orders, status, parameter summary and currently available actions.

04What if I do not have a finished 3D model?

Use the contact form to send a description, photos, dimensions, drawing or documentation. We will assess whether print preparation is enough or separately quoted modelling is required.

05What should I do if the file or application cannot continue?

Check the model format, size and units, refresh the session and try again. If the issue remains, send the file name, screenshot and step description through the contact form. Never send payment credentials or passwords.

02

Orders and payments

5
01When is an order successfully placed?

Production starts after the scope and price are accepted and the payment conditions shown in the application or quote are met. A deferred business payment term is available only when agreed in advance.

02How is the price calculated and can it change?

Price reflects geometry, volume, machine time, material, supports, orientation, finishing, quantity and delivery. An automated result may require review; any scope or price change is confirmed before production begins.

03Which payment methods are available?

The secure checkout shows the methods currently available for the order. They may depend on the payment provider, currency and order type. We never request card details by email or through the contact form.

04How do I order as a business and receive a sales document?

Enter correct company and billing details in your profile or during ordering. The sales document follows the accepted order and applicable law; request billing-detail corrections before it is issued whenever possible.

05Can I change material, quantity or address after payment?

Contact us as soon as possible. Changes depend on the production and shipping stage, may affect price or lead time and require renewed confirmation.

03

Store and ready-made products

5
01How is the store different from a 3D-print quote?

The store contains fixed geometry with documented variants, price and availability. Quoting is for a part made from your model, dimensions or individual settings and requires project analysis.

02Can I already order ready-made products?

The store page always shows the current status. Until a product has an active page with price, availability and an order button carrying a payment obligation, it is only a preview and cannot be purchased.

03Can I sign in to the store with my TacPrint account?

Yes. The store uses the same TacPrint identity source, so you use the same credentials. It still has its own session, cart, checkout and purchase history; ready-made orders are not mixed with custom quotes and file-based prints.

04Can I change the dimensions or shape of a store product?

Only variants listed on the product page can be selected. Geometry, dimension, material or function outside that range becomes a custom order and may require a model, analysis and separate quote.

05Can a ready-made store product be returned?

A non-personalised product bought at a distance is generally subject to a 14-day withdrawal right unless a statutory exception applies. Details are provided before purchase. A non-conforming product can be complained about independently of withdrawal.

04

Production and delivery

4
01Where can I check the order status?

Open the orders panel after login. Status may show payment due, preparation, printing, finishing, shipment, completion or cancellation. Important updates may also be sent by email.

02How long does production take?

Straightforward jobs commonly take about 2–7 business days, but the confirmed date follows model review and current capacity. A batch, finishing, unusual material or model correction may require more time.

03How do I choose delivery and see its cost?

Current delivery methods and costs are shown in the application or individual quote. They depend on destination, package size, order value and the carrier offer available at the time.

04What should I do if the shipment arrives damaged?

Photograph the packaging, label and part, keep the packaging and report damage to the carrier where possible. Contact us promptly with the order number. A missing carrier report does not remove statutory rights, but evidence helps resolve the case.

05

Cancellation and complaints

5
01Can I cancel an order?

Request cancellation as soon as possible at [email protected]. Before production starts we can usually stop the order, but settlement depends on the accepted quote and any analysis, modelling, preparation or other work already completed.

02Can a custom print be returned without giving a reason?

A print made to the customer model, dimensions or individual parameters is usually a non-prefabricated custom item. The statutory withdrawal right may therefore be excluded. This does not limit the right to complain about a product that does not conform to the agreement.

03How do I submit a complaint and how long do I have?

Email [email protected] or use an available support channel. Include the order number, problem, requested remedy, photos and how the part was used. Report the issue promptly, but consumer rights are not limited by our own 7- or 14-day notice period; statutory liability for lack of conformity generally lasts 2 years from delivery.

04How can a justified complaint be resolved?

A consumer may request repair or replacement — for 3D printing this often means correcting or reproducing the part. A price reduction or withdrawal is available in cases provided by law, including when conformity has not been restored or the lack of conformity is serious.

05What is the difference between a model error and a print defect?

We assess the finished part against the accepted model, parameters and agreed use. A geometry or design-assumption error is not always a production defect, but we flag visible risks before printing and help identify a practical solution.

06

Files and 3D printing

6
01Which file formats can I upload?

STL, OBJ or 3MF are best for quoting. For a project that needs consultation, add a PDF, drawing, photos and description. Always verify model units and scale.

02Is the model checked before printing?

Yes. We review basic printability, scale, geometry, wall thickness, risky areas and production setup. Automated analysis is not a substitute for full engineering validation or product certification.

03How do I choose technology and material?

Describe load, temperature, water or UV exposure, flexibility, tolerances and surface expectations. This helps select FFF/FDM or SLA and a material suited to the use case.

04What accuracy can I expect?

Indicative tolerance is about ±0.3 mm for FFF/FDM and ±0.1 mm for SLA, depending on geometry, size, orientation and material. Identify critical dimensions before quoting so they can be agreed separately.

05Do you produce single parts and short runs?

Yes. You can order one prototype, a functional part or a repeatable batch. For larger quantities we review production setup, first-part inspection and pricing for the specific configuration.

06What happens to my model and documentation?

We use them only for analysis, quoting, production, inspection, delivery and order support. We do not acquire project rights, publish it without a legal basis or consent, or use files to train public AI models.

Need an answer for a specific project?

Upload a model in the application or describe what the part needs to do. We will point you to the right path.
